Data Deletion Instructions

SaleZap is a product operated by CodeLab Software LLP. We respect your right to control your data. This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data and platform data (including data obtained from Meta - Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp) that SaleZap holds about you.

What Data Can Be Deleted

  • Your SaleZap account profile (name, email, phone, business details).
  • Contacts, conversations, CRM records, chatbot flows, and message history stored in your workspace.
  • Meta Platform Data obtained via the WhatsApp Business API, Instagram Graph API, and Facebook Graph API (account identifiers, page/profile data, and messages processed on your behalf).
  • Connected Shopify store data (orders, customers, products) imported into SaleZap.

Option 1 - Request Deletion by Email

  1. From the email address associated with your SaleZap account, send a message to support@salezap.ai.
  2. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  3. Include the account email, business name, and (if applicable) the connected Meta page/profile or WhatsApp number.
  4. We will verify your identity and confirm once the deletion is complete.

Option 2 - Revoke SaleZap's Access to Your Meta Account

You can disconnect SaleZap from Meta at any time. This immediately stops any further collection of Meta Platform Data:

  • Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → select SaleZap → Remove.
  • Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → select SaleZap → Remove.
  • WhatsApp Business: Disconnect the SaleZap integration from your WhatsApp Business Account in the Meta Business Manager.

Processing Time

Once we receive and verify your request, we will permanently delete your personal data and Meta Platform Data within 30 days. Certain records may be retained for a longer period only where required by law (for example, financial and tax records). We will confirm in writing once your data has been deleted.
